One of the home's defining architectural features is its fully cantilevered floating staircase. Designed with open risers, the staircase appears to float effortlessly through the space, creating a striking focal point while preserving light and openness throughout the home. A Custom Home Designed Around the Mountain Views

The vision behind Western Grand was simple yet ambitious: create a home where the surrounding mountains become part of everyday life rather than simply the backdrop. 

At the heart of the residence, a dramatic set of 34-foot sliding glass doors opens in both directions, creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living. With the doors fully retracted, the great room transforms into an open passage framed by two iconic Steamboat views. To the east, the slopes of Steamboat Ski Resort rise above the landscape. To the west, panoramic vistas stretch across the valley toward Sleeping Giant. Throughout the day, changing light and seasons continually redefine the experience of the home.
