A Custom Mountain Home Inspired by Two Cultures

Every exceptional custom home begins with understanding the people who will live there.

When our clients came to us from Mexico City, they brought a design perspective shaped by bold materials, architectural expression, and a culture where the home serves as the heart of family life. Together, we explored how to translate that vision into the Colorado Rockies, creating a luxury mountain home that celebrates both its alpine setting and the family's heritage.

The result is Casa Miradora, a residence that bridges two architectural traditions while feeling completely at home in Breckenridge.

Designed for the Breckenridge Landscape

Situated on a steep hillside overlooking the Tenmile Range, the 4,900-square-foot residence steps naturally with the terrain. A thoughtfully planned split-level layout follows the contours of the site, allowing each level to capture expansive mountain views while maintaining a sense of intimacy throughout the home.

Floor-to-ceiling glass frames the surrounding landscape, while low-sloped rooflines and natural stone establish a bold architectural presence that complements the alpine environment. At the center of the home, a sculptural glass staircase draws daylight deep into the interior, transforming movement through the home into an architectural experience.

A modern, minimalist bedroom with a wooden bed and nightstands, neutral bedding, pendant lights, large windows, and an open glass door letting in natural light. Trees are visible outside the high window.
Modern bathroom with marble-patterned walls and floors, a white bathtub, wooden vanity with drawers and shelves, large illuminated mirror, gold faucets, and a small round wooden stool with decorative items.
