Set within a forested expanse of Breckenridge, this 4,800-square-foot residence brings a Scandinavian-inspired vision to life: minimalist, intentional, and grounded in its alpine surroundings. The clients combined two lots to allow for a long, mostly single-level home that blends clarity of form with layered detail. Gable volumes wrapped in dark-stained wood and standing seam metal extend into the landscape, while expansive glazing blurs the line between indoors and out.
The clients arrived with a clear outline of their space needs, providing a strong foundation for the design process. Their vision guided each decision as we refined and expanded key elements, including the primary suite, to align with their goals and make the most of the site.
