HISTORY
We began in construction as Pinnacle Mountain Homes, seeking to disrupt a traditional industry with a progressive next generation approach “that just happened to be in construction.” Over time, we saw an opportunity to expand into property management, and Pinnacle Lodging was born. Soon thereafter, our clients began looking to us for design and furnishings for their homes, thus Collective Design was launched as an independent architecture, interiors, and furnishings business. While our construction team remains local, Collective has grown rapidly, designing, and furnishing spaces across the country and beyond.
PURPOSE
Through our growth, we began asking how we evolve from “best in class to world class?” How do we look beyond our local market and measure ourselves against the best companies in the world? Through a season of introspection, we defined our Purpose – Enhancing the Lives of Others. This embodies all that we believe, is at the forefront of all our decisions, and applies to our customers, employees, and trade partners alike. It balances our motivations and drives how we operate.
MODEL
Over time, we developed “The Pinnacle of Happiness” – our model for how we achieve our Purpose. With a stated goal of delivering Happiness to our clients and employees, we often say that we’re actually in the business of Trust. We establish and maintain Trust by Managing Expectations, eliminating the fear of the unknown through Communication & Information – delivering clarity and transparency on a daily basis, the foundation for a successful relationship.

We think in terms of generations and serving those that come after us. RECOGNITION
Within 6 years of inception, we earned our industry’s top honor – nationally recognized by the NAHB as “America’s Best Builder” in 2012, and within two years were also named “Best in American Living”. We’re a 5-time recipient of INC Magazine’s “America’s Fastest Growing Companies”. We’ve been highlighted by “Colorado Companies to Watch,” earned “Best Large Business” and “Best Place to Work” by our local Chamber of Commerce, and have received over 50+ Parade of Homes awards to date.
GENEROSITY
“To whom much is given, much is required.” Enhancing the Lives of Others includes our larger Community. Giving back to our community has and always will be a priority. In 2017, we formalized our charitable giving efforts and established Pinnacle Gives. Since inception we’ve quietly donated to over 60 non-profits in our local community focused in areas of Education & Youth, Arts & Culture, Environment, Immigration, and Healthy Communities.
