A chronic entrepreneur and visionary, Chris has a wide range of experience from management consulting to founding dot-coms and private schools. As our fearless leader, Chris brings a next-generation streamlined approach to the process of serving our clients. Passionate about our community for the past 20 years, Chris lives in Breckenridge with his wife, Shannon, and kids Chase and Jack. While entrepreneurship appears to be his main hobby, the Renner family also loves traveling to exotic locations such as Europe and Africa, where they recently investigated microfinance in Rwanda, camped on safari among the wildlife of the Masai Mara, and scuba dived in the Indian Ocean
Paul started with Pinnacle when it was just an office above a 2-car garage. He now has his hands full as Head of Construction – responsible for budgeting, scheduling, and purchasing for 10-12 homes a year. Paul also has 3 young children, a beautiful wife, Kelly, and a dog. When not working or playing with his family, you will probably find Paul biking or running marathons. Like other locals, he moved to Breckenridge for the winter, but has stayed for the summers.
Jeff joined Pinnacle with 18 years in the design world as photographer and lead creative director. As Managing Director, Jeff interacts with clients and supports our designers as they deliver wide ranging creations that reflect each client’s unique style. Along with his wife Jennifer and boys Trice and Mac, the Scroggins have recently moved back to Summit County after seven years in Texas, and now call Breckenridge home.
Advising on finishes and features, Christina works with homeowners from architectural plans to completed homes. She has designed over 30 homes and is a pro at keeping design unique and filling in the details while making the process fun. Coming from Florida, Christina graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Interior Design.
Johanna moved to Summit County in 2013 from the East Coast to start her life in the mountains. With 8+ years of design experience under her belt, she has a unique capability to translate visions into reality and expression. With a keen eye for detail her innate, intuitive sense of elegance and awareness are integrated seamlessly into each project she touches. Outside of the office, you can try to catch Johanna on the trail – snowboarding, biking or hiking.
Lisa joins the Pinnacle design team with over ten years of experience in the interior design industry. She will help transform your house into a home from conception to installation. Lisa’s thoughtful approach and attention to detail ensure that each project reflects the client’s personal style and needs. When she is not designing, Lisa enjoys spending time skiing, whitewater rafting, and backpacking with her husband and two dogs.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Kelsi moved to Summit County in November of 2015 and has joined the Pinnacle team as a Design Assistant. Having recently graduated, she is able to bring a new outlook on design to homeowners. When not at work, Kelsi is an avid CrossFit athlete, enjoys boating with her family at the lake, and spending time outdoors hiking, skiing, and biking with friends.
Originally from the Northwoods, also known as Eagle River, Wisconsin, Hillary moved to Summit County in October 2015 and joined the Pinnacle team in May 2016. Design being her greatest passion, she strives to meet every client’s needs with an unique creative twist. When Hillary is not at work she spends her time outdoors camping, boating, snowboarding, and hiking with her “PAW-tner” in crime, her 210lb mastiff.
Catherine is a native to Colorado, and is now welcoming the mountains as her new home! She graduated from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design with her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Sustainable Interior Design. After graduating and starting her career in the design industry, she decided it was time for a change! Catherine has a strong passion for design, she loves seeing projects come together and every step it takes to get there. In her free time she loves to camp, hike, and to spend time with her boyfriend and family.
Born and raised in Taos, New Mexico, Linsey will always be a mountain resident. After commuting to Denver for Corporate America for three years, Linsey has found her place at Pinnacle as she tackles all of our business initiatives and strategic business planning. Linsey spends the majority of her time outside of work as an outdoor enthusiast, yogi and chef. Through her adverterous spirit, Linsey brings excitement and laughter wherever she goes.
Originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Zane moved to Colorado to study environmental design and architecture in 2009. Ultimately, graduating with his Masters of Architecture from The University of Colorado, Zane found his way to Summit County to pursue his dream of designing mountain homes in 2015. Apart from his love for architecture and design, Zane is also a state champion disc golfer in the summer, and an avid life-long skier come winter. He finds himself traveling the world for all these passions whenever he can do so.
Chad enjoys spending time outdoors and building things, all while spending as much time as possible with his wife and 4 kids! The entire family enjoys camping, motorcycling, climbing, and hiking. Chad has lived in Summit County for 10 years and while he is heavily involved with his kid’s activities he is also an active member in his church community and sits on the board of the Summit County chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
Stephen has lived in Summit County for 14 years and has over 10 years of construction management experience. He comes from a trim carpentry background and plays the mandolin. Stephen also enjoys biking, running, Nordic skiing, and playing with his 3 kids, Kai, Bryce, and Lilla. His wife Viki is from Hungary and his kids are now tri-lingual!
Brian is a LEED Green Associate and has a degree in Sustainable Energy Materials and Technology. Brian brings a breadth of homebuilding in Michigan, Arizona, and Hawaii, and enjoys biking, surfing, the backcountry, and brewing craft beer. Brian is a member of the Summit County Rescue Group and responds to 15-25 calls throughout the year.
Adam received his degree in Business Management and taught English in May of 2005. He started out as a finish carpentry subcontractor and then came on to Pinnacle as a Project Manager from 2010-2013. He is now back on the team as of 2015 as a Project Manager coordinating trades, communicating between Owner/Architect/Builder, Procurement, and overall project delivery. When he isn’t working, Adam is spending time with his lovely wife and 2 young boys(3 years and 10 months), traveling internationally, mountain biking in the summer, skiing in the winter, and reading good books by the fire.
When not working in Chad’s wood shop turning bowls on his lathe, Brad runs marathons, hikes, fly fishes, and skis. Brad moved here in 2010 and has been volunteering for Summit County Youth (SCY) since then. Brad also has hopes of starting a side fly-fishing company specializing in hand crafted wood fishing nets and fly fishing rods.
Pete comes from a framing and trim background. Pete enjoys riding his dirt bike, writing fiction novels, and creating art. He also loves hiking with his wife and new baby daughter. In his spare time he also volunteers with Summit County Youth.
Mac moved to Breckenridge in 2006 and started with Pinnacle in 2015 as a Project Superintendent. He is responsible for site management and organization in assistance to the project manager. When he isn’t working, Mac enjoys reading, backpacking, biking and skiing. He is living in Vail for the time being with the hopes and dreams of moving to wonderful Summit County.
Jim, a Vermont native, received his degree in Natural Science at Castleton State College in Vermont. Jim comes from a family of builders and has a background primarily in framing and trim work. He was recently married in Breckenridge to his college sweetheart, Stefanie. He loves to scuba dive, ski, fish, hunt, dirt bike as well as traveling and taking in new experiences and cultures with his wife.
John Came to Pinnacle after 17 years as a Ski Patroller and Project Manager for Loveland Ski Area. His world is all about my spending time with his Wife of 15 years and their 8 year old son. You can find them Alpine/Nordic Skiing or at the Hockey rink in the winter, and on a mountain bike or rock climbing in the Summers—You may even see him playing Guitar at an Après around town.
A 10 year local originally from Wisconsin, Asa joined Pinnacle in the early years and now manages all the finances for the company and also sits on the Summit County Parade of Homes Committee. Asa loves mountain biking, snowboarding, cooking, cars, and a good BBQ on a patio with a view. An adventurer that travels to exotic places, Asa married his wife, Heather, in Thailand and they have a new baby boy, Pai.
Carl oversees Pinnacle’s entire technology infrastructure, keeps the Client Portal running smoothly and also assists with sales. Previously, Carl worked as a commercial real estate broker in San Antonio, TX and as an investment banker in New York City. He has over 18 years of industry experience in business development, real estate and technology. He’s into hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, live music, travel, ancestry research and hanging out with his wife, Melissa, and Bernese Mountain Dogs, Nora & Beau.
Christine works on the marketing strategy and implementation for Pinnacle Mountain Homes, Pinnacle Lodging and VisitBreck. She has worked in tourism and real estate marketing since 2000. In her former life, Christine used to be a chef and has opened and managed restaurants. Though Christine has lived in Summit County since 1995, she was born in Ireland and has had the pleasure to call Paris, the Virgin Islands, and New England “home” throughout her career. Christine has a 18 year old son and enjoys hiking, road biking, swing and blues dancing, and skiing. She is a GoBreck marketing committee member, a Dillon Economic Development Committee member and a Breckenridge Tourism Office board member.
Melany is a Colorado Native. She joined Pinnacle as a Marketing Coordinator, overseeing social media and internet marketing efforts. When she is not in the office, Melany is traveling to warmer weather, teaching yoga at the local studio, fly fishing, or skiing with her family.
With a background in graphic design and web development and a creative impulse, Shannon oversees the development of email campaigns, websites, and search engine optimization. She truly enjoys working for Pinnacle and admits it’s fun working with her hubby. Shannon is the proud mother of two handsome boys, Chase and Jack, and can typically be found walking the new puppy, Lucy, when she’s not dreaming up new web stuff for Pinnacle Lodging.
Originally from Columbia, Missouri, Rachael moved to Summit County in December of 2013 and joined the Pinnacle team in August of 2016. When Rachael is not in the office, she enjoys spending an excessive amount of time with her dog, Zedd, and Facetiming her mother.
After graduating high school, Jordan moved to Summit County to attend CMC for Wilderness Emergency Medical Services and to obtain his business degree in marketing. He enjoys backpacking, alpine fishing, and plans to be a mountaineering guide in the Himalayas on the most technical peaks.
Richie moved to Breckenridge for a fresh experience and of course to be as close as possible to the outdoors. On our feld labor team, he supports the site superintentants to keep the jobs sites clean and efficient. Richie has two younger brothers and works hard to stay involved with their lives. When he isn’t working, he loves to fish, snowboard, camp, and pretty much every other outdoor activity.
Ty, a new member of our field labor team moved from northern Colorado. His previous experience in maintanence with the Town of Eaton has prepared him to join Pinnacle. He is a self proclaimed sports junkie – football and basketball being his favorite, he is always looking for somebody to who will play ball.
Nate, originally from Baltimore, moved to Summit County just over one year ago. He enjoys running when he is away from the job site and thinks the price of running shoes is on the rise. Before starting with Pinnacle Mountain Homes, he worked “safety” at a crocodile zoo.. no joke.
Tony is a Colorado native, originally from Eaton, Colorado, he moved to Summit County in 2013. Cleaning, organizing and facilitating job sites is his role working as part of our field crew. He values working for Pinnacle for the wide variety of exposure and knowledge it presents to him on the site. On the weekends you can find Tony making turns skiing, shooting a round of disc golf, or rooting the Broncos on. Tony thinks Summit County feels like home due to its endless options to have a good time outside.
